Maple Marinade and Meat Sauce

Maple Marinade and Meat Sauce


3/4 cup maple syrup
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a small bowl or a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine all ingredients; mix or shake well. Serve over ribs, chicken, pork or ham or use as a marinade. Store in the refrigerator.

Yield: 1-3/4 cups.
