I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Peach Cobbler

Peach Cobbler
1/2 C butter or margarine
1 C self rising flour
2 C sugar, divided
1 C milk
4 C fresh peaches, peeled & sliced
Melt butter in a 9x13 pan. 

In a bowl, combine flour, 1 c of sugar and milk. Mix well. 

Pour over melted butter. Do not stir. 

In a saucepan, combine peaches and remaining cup of sugar. 

Bring to a boil. 

Pour over batter. Do not stir. 

Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or untiled browned.
