I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Mexican Seasoned Rice


Mexican Seasoned Rice

1 teas paprika
1 pinch cayenne
1/4 teas garlic powder
1/4 teas onion powder
1/4 teas black pepper
1 teas salt
1/2 teas ground cumin
1 cup long grain rice
2 tabl butter
2 1/4 cups water

Pour all in heavy medium pan with tight fitting lid. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat cover and barely simmer for 20 minutes. Turn off heat and let. Sit for about 10 minutes.
