I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Squaw Rice


Squaw Rice

1 pound ground beef
1 can creamed corn (16-oz.)
1 cup tomato juice
3 cups cooked rice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 onion, chopped
1 can tomatoes (16-oz.), drained
1 cup water
1/2 cup tomato sauce

Brown beef and onion; drain. Combine all ingredients in a large pot, then
simmer 20-30 minutes, stirring often.
Serves 6
