Notes

I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Banana Pudding

Banana Pudding

2 eggs separated
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
3 or 4 bananas
graham crackers or can use vanilla wafers
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
teaspoon vanilla

Mix sugar and flour stir in the egg yolks (beaten well) in a small part of the sugar mixture. Add milk Cook in iron skillet until mixture thickens.

Place layer of graham crackers in pan (I make 2 batches so I use 13x9 baking dish) put bananas sliced on top of graham crackers pour some sauce then layer graham crackers, bananas again etc and pour sauce on top.

For a meringue beat room temp egg whites ( add small amount sugar) beat until stiff put on top of pudding then put in oven to brown a small bit. This is at least a 60 year old recipe.
