I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Red Hot Onions
Red Hot Onions
1 large white onion sliced thin
1/2 cup red hot sauce
2 tablespoons butter
Melt the butter in with the hot sauce on medium heat add the onions and simmer for 5 minutes.
