I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Wild Rice Casserole

Wild Rice Casserole

1 cup wild rice
4 cups water
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. pork sausage
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 oz. can mushrooms, drained
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce

Wash rice in cold water until water runs clear. Measure water and salt in pot. Add rice and cook at boiling point for 40 minutes, then drain. Crumble and fry pork sausage; drain fat. Add mushroom soup, mushrooms, milk and Worcestershire sauce. Blend and mix with rice.

Place in casserole dish. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
