Ozark Meat Pie Dinner
2 cups diced steak or pork or cold cooked meat
1 small can tender peas
1 cup diced carrots
1 cup hot water
1 medium onion
1 cup diced potatoes (cooked, if you are using cooked meat)
(Can be made from left over meats or fresh meats)
If meat is uncooked, brown in 1 tbsp. oil.
Add all other ingredients, let come to a boil, then thicken with 1 tbsp. flour mixed to a paste with cold water.
Add salt, pepper, and any other seasoning you like.
Set all aside until partially cool, then pour into a pastry-lined baking dish and bake until brown.
