Squash Fritters

2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
2 T. chopped onion
1/2 C. self-rising flour
1 T. sugar
2 T. milk
1 C. cooked, mashed squash
Mix all ingredients together, fry a tablespoon at a time in salad oil.
