Apple Pudding
Ingredients
1/4 pound bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/4 pound moist sugar
pinch salt
1/4 pound apples
1/4 pound suet (chopped finely)
1/4 pint milk
pinch nutmeg
Directions: Pare, core and chop the apples coarsely. Mix all dry ingredients together. Add the eggs, previously beaten, milk and all well. Let the mixture stand 1 hour for the bread to soak. Pour into a
greased basin and steam 2 hours.
