I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Great Grandma's Shortcake
Great Grandma's Shortcake
dash salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
2/3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Mix ingredients well. Grease 9x9" cake pan. Spread into pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 min.
