Creepy Crunchy Donut Eyeballs

Makes 20 servings.
2 (12 ounce) bags white chocolate morsels, Nestle
2 teaspoons vegetable shortening, Crisco
20 glazed donut holes, Entenmann's
20 round jellied candies, Gummi Savers
20 milk chocolate candies, M&M's
Red food coloring, Schilling
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or wax paper and set aside.
Melt chocolate morsels with vegetable shortening in a stainless steel
bowl by setting bowl over a pan of simmering water and stirring until
smooth.
Cut two 1/8-inch-slices from opposite sides of each donut hole. Drop the
donut holes into the chocolate, one at a time. Using a fork, coat the
donut hole in chocolate. Lift and gently shake to remove excess
chocolate. Place on prepared cookie sheet, cut side down.
Repeat with remaining donut holes.
Reserve unused chocolate.
Place the jellied candies on top surface of donut holes. Refrigerate
until set.
Re-heat chocolate if necessary. Place a small dab of melted chocolate on
the chocolate candies and stick them onto the jellied candies.
Refrigerate until set, about 10 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix 2 drops of food coloring with 2 teaspoons melted
chocolate.
Use a toothpick to draw "veins" on the eyeballs. Refrigerate until ready
to serve.

Chocolate Lanterns


Chocolate Lanterns

1 container Cool Whip
2 large boxes chocolate pudding
12 miniature pumpkins
Green food coloring
You may need another box of pudding if your pumpkins are a little
larger.
Prepare pudding according to package directions. Chill until firm.
Cut the tops off the pumpkins and remove most of the interior with a
sharp knife. Scoop to even out the inside. Draw designs with permanent
marker on pumpkins. Scoop pudding into pumpkins until full.
Mix Cool Whip and green food coloring and top pumpkins with a spoonful.
Keep cool until ready to serve.

Spooktacular Pumpkin Cake


Spooktacular Pumpkin Cake

1 package yellow or white cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
1/4 cup water (add 2 tablespoons of water if eggs are small) Put cake
mix in a large bowl. Make an indentation in the center and pour in the
oil and one egg. Mix using mixer, then add the rest of the eggs one at a
time, beating after each one.
Add pumpkin, sugar, spices, and then water. Bake in greased and floured
tube pan in 350°F (175°C) oven for 60 to 70 minutes (depending on
oven calibration). Cool before removing from pan.
Frost and decorate as desired.
Makes 12 to 16 servings.

"Pizza Mummies"


"Pizza Mummies" (Dinner Recipe)

Ingredients

* English muffins
* Pizza sauce
* Black olives
* Scallions
* Red or green pepper
* Cheese sticks or slices

Instructions

1.Heat the oven to 350º F. For each mummy, spread a tablespoon of pizza sauce onto half of an English muffin (toast it first, if you like).
2.Set olive slices in place for eyes and add round slices of green onion or bits of red or green pepper for pupils.
3.Lay strips of cheese (we used a pulled-apart cheese stick) across the muffin for the mummy?s wrappings.
4.Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the muffin is toasty.

Dracula's Kiss Shooter (Halloween)

1 oz. orange Curacao
1/2 oz. grenadine
3/4 oz. black vodka, such as Blavod black vodka

Fill cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add orange Curacao. Shake vigorously for 5 to 10 seconds. Strain into a shot glass. Slowly pour grenadine over the back of a spoon so that it runs down the side of glass and settles in bottom. Fill shaker halfway with ice. Add black vodka. Shake vigorously for 5 to 10 seconds. Slowly pour vodka over black of spoon so that it runs down the side of glass and floats on top of orange Curacao.
Serves 1
