DANISH CHERRY BALLS CANDY
1 jar maraschino cherries, drained and dried
1 stick butter (not oleo)
1/4 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1-1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
Mix butter, flour, vanilla and salt thoroughly. Put
enough dough around cherry. Wrap well (not too thick). Bake 15 to 18 minutes at
350 degrees. Dip in thin confectioners' sugar frosting. May be colored red,
green, etc. with food coloring.
