Frosted Lime Walnut Salad

1 package lime gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 can crushed pineapple -- (# 2 can)
1 cup small curd cottage cheese
1/2 cup celery -- sliced fine
1 tablespoon pimento -- chopped
1/2 cup walnuts -- chopped
FROSTING
1 3 oz package cream cheese
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; cool until syrupy. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into loaf pan that has been rinsed in cold water to chill pan. Chill thoroughly. When firm, unmold or leave in pan. Frost top.
FROSTING
Blend cream cheese, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Beat until smooth.
NOTES : Served at holiday dinners.
