I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Picnic Beans

Picnic Beans

1 can tomato soup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 strips bacon -- cooked, diced
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper or use pimiento -- optional
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/2 cup molasses
2 cans pork and beans -- (16 oz each)

Combine all ingredients.
Mix well.
Spoon into a greased 2-quart baking dish.
Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.

Serves 6
