Notes

I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Grilled Potato Skins

Grilled Potato Skins

6 baking potatoes
2 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted
1/2 cup picante sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 slices bacon, crisp cooked and crumbled or
1/2 cup finely chopped fully cooked ham.
chopped tomato
sliced green onion
1/2 cup sour cream

Bake potatoes and cool for easier handling. Slice in half length wise,
scoop out pulp, leaving 1/4 inch thick shell.
Use potato pulp for other use.
Brush inside of skins with melted butter.
Spoon 2 tablespoons picante sauce into each potato shell. Sprinkle each with cheese. Add bacon or ham.
Grill potato skins on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium
coals or heat 10-12 minutes or till skins are crisp.
