I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Sweet 'n Sour Tuna Rice Salad

Sweet 'n Sour Tuna Rice Salad

Serving Size : 4

Main dish Salads

3 tb Red wine vinegar
2 ts Granulated sugar
1/4 t Salt
1/4 t Pepper (or up to 1/2 tsp.)
8 oz Water-packed tuna -- drained (reserve liquid) -- broken into chunks
2 c Cooked long grain rice -- (white or brown)
2 c Chopped peeled tomatoes -- (fresh)
1 c Finely diced red onion
1 c Finely diced celery
1/2 c Chopped scallions
1/2 c Frozen peas -- thawed

In a small bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon of reserved tuna liquid.

In a large bowl combine remaining ingredients; add vinegar mixture and toss. Let stand for 10 minutes; toss again and serve.
