I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

FIRE HOT CHILI

FIRE HOT CHILI

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 lb. smoke sausage, diced in sm. bits
1 c. onions, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
5 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp.paprika
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 can Rotel tomatoes

In heavy pan brown first 3 ingredients. Drain fat off. Add rest of ingredients, cover and simmer for about 1
1/2 hours until thickens. Adjust seasoning to taste in last 10 minutes of cooking.
