Date Bugs (Halloween)
1 pkg. pitted dates
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 oz. crumbled blue cheese
2 T. mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans
Cut dates in half lengthwise. Split one half
lengthwise, leaving top intact to look like wings. IN medium bowl, mix cream
cheese, blue cheese and mayonnaise. Beat at medium speed with mixer until
creamy. Stir in pecans. Fill date half with cream cheese mixture. Top with split
date "wings".
Makes about 5 dozen dates
