I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Classic Green Bean Casserole

Classic Green Bean Casserole

2 (16-ounce) cans cut green beans
3/4 cup milk
1 (10 1/2-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
Dash black pepper
1 (2.3-ounce) can french fried onions

Combine beans, milk, soup, pepper and 1/2 can onions. Pour into 1 1/2 quart greased casserole.
Bake uncovered at 350°F. for 30 minutes.
Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer.
Makes 8 servings.
