I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Sea Shell Tuna Salad

Sea Shell Tuna Salad
Recipe By :Golden Grain Macaroni package
Serving Size : 4


1 1/2 cups uncooked small shell pasta
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper -- or to taste
1 medium tomato -- diced
1 cup chopped celery
2 7 oz cans canned tuna in water* -- drained and flaked
1/2 cup sliced pimiento-stuffed olives
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
1 whole ripe avocado, pitted -- peeled and sliced

*I use albacore tuna.

Cook sea shells al dente as directed on package. Rinse in cold water; drain. In a large bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, seasoned salt and pepper. Add pasta, tomato, celery, tuna, olives and onion. Toss gently and thoroughly. Chill 2 hours or overnight. Just before serving, toss with lettuce and garnish with avocado.
