Notes

I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Corn and Ground Beef Casserole

Corn and Ground Beef Casserole

6 corn tortillas, uncooked
2 pounds ground beef onion
garlic powder
salt and pepper
1 small can whole kernel corn, drained
sliced Velveeta cheese
1 small can cream of chicken soup
1/2 jar salsa sauce (or whole jar)

Use an oblong pan, 2-inches deep. Grease pan. Line bottom of pan with six corn tortillas, uncooked. Brown ground beef with onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Layer half of ground beef on top of tortillas. Next layer one small can whole kernel corn, drained. Next layer sliced Velveeta cheese. Repeat layers one more time; ground beef, corn and cheese. Cover top with six corn tortillas. Mix together one can cream of chicken soup and salsa sauce. Use the whole jar if you like it hot. Pour over top and bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Cover with foil while baking.
