I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

White Chocolate Cherry Cookies

White Chocolate Cherry Cookies 


2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 whole eggs
1 12 ounce package white chocolate chips
1 cups dried cherries, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream egg, butter, sugar and 
vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients and mix until incorporated 
into a dough. Stir in white chocolate chips and dried cherries. 
Drop by well-rounded tablespoons onto a baking sheet lined
with parchment paper. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
