DROP LEPP COOKIES
2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 c. butter or lard
1 pt. sour milk (2 c.)
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
5 c. flour
Beat eggs; add sugar and shortening. Sift baking powder with flour; add soda to sour milk. Alternate liquids with flour mixture. Drop on cookie sheet; bake at 425 degrees until done.
