I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Aunt Bee's Apple Pie

Aunt Bee's Apple Pie
Servings: 6
Cook time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

1/2 c Butter or margarine
4 oz Cream cheese
2 c All-purpose flour
2 1/2 c Sliced apples
1 c Sugar
1/3 c Orange juice
2 TB Honey
1/2 t Cinnamon
1 TB All-purpose flour
1/2 c Butter or margarine

Directions:

In a large bowl combine 1/2 cup of butter and the cream cheese, and let come to room temperature. Add 2 cups of flour, and blend well.

Chill.

Roll out half of the dough and place in a 9" pie plate.

Reserve the remaining dough for the top crust.

In a saucepan combine the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

Pour the mixture into the crust.

Roll out the remaining crust and place over the filling.

Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.

Bake in a 350~ oven for 45 minutes.
