I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Brandied Candied Sweet Potatoes

Brandied Candied Sweet Potatoes
Serving Size : 12

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup brandy
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 pounds sweet potatoes -- peeled and diced

In a large skillet melt the butter or margarine. Stir in the brown sugar, brandy and salt. Stir until smooth. Add the sweet potatoes. Cook over low heat, stirring gently, until sweet potatoes are heated through and well glazed.

NOTES : This is a Thanksgiving favorite of ours for many years because it is different from the many mashed sweet potatoes recipes.
