I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Vinegar & Oil Coleslaw

Vinegar & Oil Coleslaw


1 med size cabbage, finely shredded
1 onion, finely chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
3 celery ribs, finely chopped
8 stuffed olives, chopped
1 carrot, shredded

Dressing

1/2 c white vinegar
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/2 c sugar
1/2 t black pepper
1 t yellow mustard
1 t salt

Bring to boil and mix thoroughly. Pour over slaw while hot and mix together. Cover and place in refrigerator for 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
