I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Chicken Chili

Chicken Chili

1 t oil
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
15 oz navy beans - undrained
15 oz great northern beans - undrained
2 chicken breasts cooked and shredded
4 oz can diced green chiles
11 oz can Mexi corn
2 t cumin
4 T cilantro - chopped - more if used for garnish
4 oz sour cream
salt and pepper to taste

Saute onions and garlic in oil until onion becomes tender, approximately 4 to 5 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients, except sour cream, stirring together to combine all the ingredients. Cover. Turn heat to low and continue to stir occasionally. Cook for approximately 10 minutes.

Garnish with sour cream and extra cilantro.
