I think the notes people include in their recipes make them more personal. If I write a note myself about a recipe, it will always be written in purple.

Banana Cake

Banana Cake
* 2 cups flour
* 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/3 cup butter (softened)
* 1 cup sugar
* 2 ripe bananas mashed
* 2 eggs
* 2/3 cups plain yogurt
* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1. In a bowl combine flour, baking powder and baking soda.

2. In a separate bowl mix butter and sugar until well combined.

3. Add eggs and mashed bananas to butter mixture.

4. Add to flour mixture to the butter mixture. Add yogurt and mix together well (until smooth).

5. Spoon batter into lightly greased baking pan and top with walnuts (if using).

6. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes or until baked through.
